Design & build, the Hille’s way.
Our approach is simple. And we’re here to support you through the entire process.
From the first meeting in your home with a designer, right through to the final touches by the painter, we pay attention to every detail and guarantee complete satisfaction on every project we undertake.
Here’s what we’re doing
• Only essential Hille’s employees and contractors are allowed on site. Anyone with cold or flu symptoms will not be allowed on site.
• Want to keep your distance? We offer the option to have virtual planning meetings.
• Any building work in enclosed/internal spaces adhering to 1 person per 4 sqm rule.
• Following the 1.5m social distancing rule at all times – no exceptions.
• Ensuring all Hille’s employees practice excellent hygiene with on-site hand sanitation stations.
• Regularly cleaning and disinfecting areas in our work zones.
• Working closely with our customers to ensure we’re not putting them at risk.
We’ll have a chat to you to better understand your project and you and your family’s needs.
Your Hille’s designer will then compare how different design implementations will meet your needs and how they will work in your home. If you wish to limit your physical contact with us, we can arrange virtual planning meetings. Plus, the software our designers use to bring your dream home plans to life has excellent online sharing features.
You and your designer will work closely with you every step of the way. At Hille’s, we believe that truly listening to your needs is what allows us to guarantee that the final design will deliver the functionality you want, produce a visually exciting result, enhance flow through your home, and ensure growth in the resale value of your home.
Our designers are experts.
They understand modern materials, current trends, styles, fittings and appliances. And, they’re here to help you.
Now that the design is finalised, it’s time to start the building process. You will now have a very clear picture of how your home will look, what materials will be used and how much it will cost. No surprises and no hidden costs. Your preliminary agreement and quote will outline all the included and excluded costs. Your project will be the focus of our building team and you will be assigned a Supervisor who will oversee your project through to completion. The Supervisor will serve as your point of contact through the build and have regular communication with you and your designer.
Hille’s will do all the groundwork required to get your project started as quickly as possible. We’ll seek council approvals and building permits on your behalf and will be ready to get started once the “all clear” is given. For non-town planning jobs and subject to council approvals, the average lead time is 4 - 5 months.
Skilled planning is undertaken by your Supervisor to ensure that your project keeps moving toward completion on time. Priority will be given to essential wet areas deemed “out of action” by the works.
If you have any concerns along the way you can talk to us.
